A CAR careered over a roundabout before ending up in a bush.

The single-vehicle crash happened last night at around 8pm on the A272 Cowfold Road near Bolney.

The driver suffered no injuries from the crash.

But the car had damage to its front and was removed by a recovery lorry at around 8.50pm.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: “It was a single vehicle road traffic collision on the A272.

"The vehicle has gone over the roundabout and into the bushes. There were no injuries.

“The on slip for the A23 was closed shortly while the vehicle was removed.”

The slip road on to the A23 was closed briefly while the silver car was removed.

The road was reopened by 9pm.
