LEG-WARMERS, sequins and elbow-length gloves will be the order of the day as the eighties are revived in a stunning theatre show.
The 80s Live show brings two dozen of the decade’s top hits to Brighton’s Theatre Royal next month, with the Electric Dreams band taking centre stage.
The group will bring sounds from the era back to life, with tracks from chart-topping bands like Soft Cell, Duran Duran, The B-52’s and Frankie Goes to Hollywood.
The show’s promoter, James Taylor, said that the night promises to be the biggest eighties party to tour the UK, with a stop in Brighton on July 7.
“It’s the night out you’ve been dreaming of,” he said.
“Brand new for 2022, it’s the show that stands head and shoulder pads above other touring concert shows.
“With a sensational cast and live band, this is just what the doctor ordered.”
Partygoers are invited to dress to impress by donning their best eighties fashion – be it your best dayglo, corset belts or sunglasses.
Tickets for the show, which lasts for more than two hours, are available via the Theatre Royal website.
