TEENAGER Pietro Addis will stand trial for the murder of his grandmother for the third time.
The 19-year-old is due to appear in court on February 20 next year after the first two trials at Lewes Crown Court collapsed due to legal issues.
The teenager has admitted killing his grandmother but denied murder at a previous hearing.
Sue Addis was found dead at her home in Cedar Gardens, Brighton, on January 7, 2021.
There was a short mention hearing on May 30 at Lewes Crown Court to discuss the case before Her Honour Judge Christine Laing QC, the honorary recorder of Brighton and Hove.
The new trial date follows weeks of legal discussions behind closed doors.
