STAND-UPS set to play at a world-renowned comedy festival will test new material in the city next month.
Komedia in Gardner Street, Brighton, will host comics at preview events throughout July, ahead of their sets at Edinburgh Fringe festival.
Edinburgh Preview is returning after two years away due to the pandemic, and will see two acts headline each evening.
Stars set to play include Olga Koch, who has appeared on the BBC’s Mock the Week, and was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, and Paul Williams, the assistant on New Zealand's version of Taskmaster.
Tom Brain, programmer at the venue, said: “We’re very excited to have our Edinburgh Preview Season back as part of the Komedia programme.
“With each show including a double-header of acts, it’s a great way to see some excellent comedy, in an intimate setting, for a reasonable price.”
Also featuring are up-and-coming acts Leo Reich and Erika Ehler, as well as John Hastings and Garrett Millerick.
The previews will run from July 3 until 29, ahead of the Edinburgh Fringe which will start on 5 until Aug 29.
Tickets and a full line-up for Edinburgh Preview are available via Komedia’s website.
