POLICE have seized a £14,000 Cartier watch under the proceeds of crime act.
The watch was seized by officers on June 9.
Brighton magistrates have now granted an application by police to further detain the “listed asset” in accordance with section 303L of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002.
Magistrates approved the application by the Sussex Police Economic Crime unit to allow police to retain the watch for six months.
