Mercedes driver fined for speeding on M23 near Tilgate Forest
A MAN has been fined and given six points on his licence for speeding in a Mercedes on the M23.
Andrew Gutmann has been ordered to pay a total of £977 by Crawley magistrates after being caught driving above 70mph on the motorway between J10a and J11 near Tilgate Forest on January 5.
The 52-year-old pleaded guilty to the offence.
Gutmann, of The Chenies, Petts Wood, Bromley, was fined £807 and given six points on his licence.
He will also have to pay £90 in court costs and a surcharge of £80 to fund victim services.
