A CAR has been severely damaged in a crash with an HGV.
Emergency services were called to the crash on the A22 Golden Jubilee Way, Polegate, at about 3.45pm on Tuesday, June 14.
The collision, which happened near the Dittons Road roundabout, involved a car and a lorry.
Pictures from the scene show the car severely damaged.
A motorist at the scene said the driver of the car was being attended to by an ambulance crew.
The severity of the injuries are not yet known.
Sussex Police have been approached for comment.
On Sunday, a car flipped on its roof at the roundabout connecting the A22 Golden Jubilee Way and the A27.
Two cars were involved in the crash, which four fire engines, police and an ambulance attended.
The driver of one of the vehicles is being treated for serious injuries and flown by air ambulance to hospital.
Witnesses of the collision are being urged to contact police at collision.appeal@sussex.police.uk, quoting Operation Netley.
