A DATE for the Sue Addis murder trial is to be announced this week.
It will be the third trial that 19-year-old Pietro Addis, her grandson, has faced after the first two collapsed due to legal issues.
The teenager has admitted killing the Brighton restaurateur but denied murder at a previous hearing.
Mrs Addis was found dead at her home in Cedar Gardens, Brighton, on January 7, 2021.
As previously reported, there was a short mention hearing on May 30 at Lewes Crown Court to discuss the case before Her Honour Judge Christine Laing QC, the honorary recorder of Brighton and Hove.
Pietro Addis was just 17 when he is alleged to have murdered his grandmother.
