POLICE are investigating reports of a dog who went missing while on a walk.
Pekoe, a two-year-old deerhound cross lurcher, disappeared from Brede High Woods, north of Hastings, at around 7am on May 13.
Despite extensive searches, she could not be found and her owners called the police, believing she must have been picked up and taken by someone else.
Enquiries are continuing and officers are appealing for anyone with information on Pekoe’s whereabouts to get in touch.
She is brindle coloured with a distinctive black patch on her right foreleg and a pale one on her left foreleg.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police online or by calling 101 quoting serial 831 of 13/05.
