A MAN has been fined for riding an e-scooter without insurance.
Dale Williams has been ordered to pay a total of £574 by Crawley magistrates after he was caught riding a HTT2 E-Scooter in Trafalgar Street, Brighton, without third-party insurance and not in accordance with his licence.
The 40-year-old was found guilty of both offences, which happened on November 26 last year.
Williams, of Islingword Road, Brighton, was fined £440 and given six points on his licence.
He will also have to pay £90 in court costs and a surcharge of £44 to fund victim services.
