Fire fighters are at the scene on the Shoreham flyover
EMERGENCY services are attending a vehicle fire on side of the A27.
The incident happened around 6.30pm eastbound on the A27 at the A283 Steyning turn-off.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (WSFRS) are at the scene with two fire engines.
Traffic is slow on the eastbound side going past the fire.
WSFRS have been approached for comment.
