LOVE Island has returned and our islanders are all coupled up but it looks like Brighton contestant Luca Bish's head might have been turned. 

The 'OG dating show' returned to our screens for the eighth series on Monday night and there was no shortage of drama. 

The 23-year old fishmonger entered the villa looking for a summer of fun and romance, but presenter Laura Whitmore was never going to make it that easy. 

In previous series, the boys would arrive and would get to choose which girl they would like to be coupled up with but on Monday, Whitmore revealed that the public had already done the match-making for them. 

Luca Bish coupled up with Paige Thorne but has eyes for another islander

Luca was paired up with 24-year-old Swansea paramedic Paige Thorne but it doesn't look like it's going to be plain sailing for the couple. 

The first bombshell of the series was Italian Stallion Davide Sanclimenti who entered the villa towards the end of the first day. 

Speaking in the Beach Hut about Davide's arrival, Luca said: “Davide! I was thinking I’m the good-looking Italian here and then you’ve sent that geezer through the door.”

Luca is right to be concerned, after a game of dares, Davide received the first text of the series which revealed that he has to pick one of the girls to couple up with within the next 24 hours.

The graft is on for the show's Italian contestant and he wastes no time on getting to know the girls better. 

Speaking to Paige, Davide says: “I fall in love for the personality and if you have a good heart. You are a beautiful girl - you’re a good looking girl."

But Davide also pulls fellow islander Gemma for a chat so it's all to play for.

Who does Luca Bish want to couple up with on Love Island?

Speaking in the Beach Hut about Tasha, Luca admits: “I got a really good vibe off her. I think there could be something there.”

It looks like love might be in the air too since it looks like Tasha feels the same way. 

Despite being coupled up with Andrew, Tasha says in the Beach Hut: “Andrew is giving me good vibes and good energy. But Luca seems very sweet.”

Fans might even be able to spot a touch of jealousy coming from Luca on Tuesday night's show as he hears about Tasha and Andrew's cuddling in bed.

Speaking with Tasha in the garden, Luca asks: “Did you have a nice spoon last night, did you?”

Tasha jokes: “I knew you were going to say that!”

Luca replies: “I’m not jealous, I’m not!” 

Tasha then says: “You don’t wish it was you?”

Time will tell if we get a new couple before the week is out!
