LIGUE 1 side Monaco are reportedly set to launch a transfer bid for sought after Albion star.
Yves Bissouma has attracted attention from a host of Premier League sides, including Arsenal, Aston Villa, Newcastle, Tottenham and West Ham.
According to talkSPORT, Monaco are monitoring the central midfielder if they were to be forced to sell Aurelien Tchouameni.
Tchouameni, 22, has attracted interest from some of Europe's biggest clubs, with Premier League and Champions League runners up Liverpool reportedly interested.
The Frenchman has a £70 million price tag.
His potential departure will likely lead Monaco to look to fill his void before the start of next season, with Bissouma one of their targets.
The 25-year-old helped lead Graham Potter’s side to their highest finish ever in the English top flight.
The Mali international is also reportedly one of a number of targets for Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.
Leicester City's Youri Tielemans is another well-known target for the Gunners.
French journalist Saber Desfarges previously revealed Bissouma is one of three names on Monaco's transfer list, which also includes Lille midfielder Amadou Onana.
He said on social media: "To replace Aurelien Tchouameni, AS Monaco checked three names. Among them, there is Yves Bissouma, who interests Newcastle, and Amadou Onana, who interests many European clubs."
Bissouma joined Albion from Lille in the summer of 2018 for a transfer fee that could reach €18 million.
The Argus previously reported that Albion are ready to hold on to all of their prized assets this summer – unless an irresistible offer comes along.
Bissouma, Marc Cucurella and Robert Sanchez have all been linked with clubs at home and abroad, but there have been no bids as yet for any of these players.
