THE body of a man has been found at the base of a cliff.
Emergency services were called to the cliffs in Eastbourne on Wednesday, June 1.

The man’s body was located by police and pronounced dead at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed.
The RNLI Eastbourne said a volunteer crew were paged at about 5.30pm on Wednesday to respond to the incident.
They were requested to launch their inshore lifeboat and tasked to assist police and local coastguards with the incident to the east of the Belle Tout Lighthouse.
“There will be no further details due to the sensitive nature of the call,” a RNLI spokesman said.
Last month, a woman died after falling from the cliffs in Eastbourne.
“Around 6pm on Friday, May 13, a woman was seen to fall from cliffs near Eastbourne, and was sadly confirmed deceased,” a police spokesman said.
“There are no suspicious circumstances.”
