SOME familiar faces climbed on to the roof of the i360 ahead of jubilee celebrations across the city.
Staff at the Brighton seafront landmark donned face masks of the Queen, as well as jackets inspired by Her Majesty’s looks through the ages, and climbed on to the glass pod of the attraction some 450ft above the city.
It comes as the city and the country prepares to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, with more than 100 events planned across Brighton and Hove to mark the historic occasion.
Residents are set to enjoy more than 80 street parties across the city, as well as the lighting of a beacon on Hove esplanade, and a family picnic in Royal Pavilion Gardens.
Visitors to the i360 will be able to follow in their footsteps in a new experience - Walk 360, officially launching next month.
