AN ABNORMAL load is to cause long traffic delays as it travel across the county.
Sussex Police said the load will be transported from Henfield to Shoreham on Monday.
Setting off at 9.30am, the escort will leave Henfield northbound via Kidders Lane and the A281.
It will travel on the B2116 and then to the B2118 at Albourne to Hurstpierpoint.
From there, it will travel on the B2117 to the A23 southbound, and from there onto the A27 westbound.
The escort will leave the A27 at Hangleton on the A293, and will travel on the A270 and A259 towards its final destination at Shoreham.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: “Motorists are advised that the vehicles will be travelling at slow speeds and some delays may be expected.”
It comes after the transportation of essential national grid equipment caused long tailbacks in March.
The load measures more than 70 metres in length.
