Police arrested a man and a woman on suspicion of burglary after reports of break-ins around Bedford Square in Brighton
A MAN and a woman have been arrested after police received reports of people breaking into properties along a city centre road.
Police attended the scene in Bedford Square in Brighton following reports of break-ins around 7.30pm last night.
Officers arrested a 28-year-old man nearby on suspicion of burglary, possession of a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place, and possession of a controlled Class B drug.
A 35-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of burglary with intent to steal.
Both remain in custody.
