RAIL passengers are facing delays this morning due to a track fault.
A speed restriction has been put in place between Easy Croydon and Gatwick airport due to a defective track, Southern Rail confirmed.
Airport trains are being forced to run at a reduced speed on lines towards Brighton.

Travellers are being told to expect delays of up to ten minutes.
A Southern Rail spokesman said: “Still use your normal route whilst travelling between East Croydon and Gatwick Airport this morning.
“Journeys may be delayed up to ten minutes, so please allow extra time for travel – especially if you are relying on connections.”
