A TIKTOK star with more than 100,000 followers is set to perform at the Brighton Fringe festival.

With more than 700 shows and events, festivalgoers are spoilt for choice with cabaret, circus, dance, drama and drag shows.

Among the events being held today, Sunday, May 29, are:

Poofs "R" Us

With 110,000 followers on TikTok, Mark Bittlestone will look to entertain the crowd with stand-up comedy that has already helped him reach a large online audience.

Held at The Temple Bar, the 40-minnute show is a work-in-progress.

Art5 Gallery: Original Art Exhibition 2022

Hosted by Art5 Gallery in Prince Albert Street, the exhibition will be open for five weeks.

It will showcase a variety of the galleries most popular contemporary resident artists, with a mixture of group and solo shows.

The Secret Comedy Club by Artista

Artista Upstairs in Waterloo Street, Hove, holds comedy nights all year round.

But during Brighton Fringe, the award-winning venue will run seven days a week offering comedy shows, with tickets ranging from £5 to £20.

The Lady Boys of Bangkok - Summer of Fun Tour 2022

The Lady Boys of Bangkok are back for another show at Sabai Pavilion in St Peter's Square, Brighton.

The show is officially the largest and longest-running cabaret show in the UK.

A total of 16 of the world’s most glamorous showgirls will be performing.

The Bubble Show

Mr Bubbles is back with his soap bubbles in all shapes and sizes with a show at The Rotunda Theatre in Regency Square.

The event is interactive and suitable for all ages.
