Police have closed off part of the A22 after an oil spillage
MOTORISTS are facing severe delays along the A22 after an oil spillage.
The A22 Golden Jubilee Way southbound in Polegate has been closed after a lorry broke down, with slow traffic due to recovery work.
An oil spillage has been reported from the B2247 Dittons Road to the B2191 Willingdon Drove.
Congestion is building along the A27 and queuing back to the Cophall Roundabout.
Delays of 20 minutes have been reported in the area, with traffic moving at just 5mph.
