NINE low-flying military helicopters will fly over the county at night this week.
The drills are part of a series of military training exercises, which began on Sunday.
The night-time flights will pass over East Sussex and West Sussex as well as Kent, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
The Ministry of Defence said each exercise involved nine rotary aircrafts.
The military training will finish on Friday.
The first set of drills took place between 10am and 3am on Sunday.
From now until Thursday, the exercises are expected to be conducted between 8am and 1am, while the drills on Friday are planned for 8am to 1pm.
The day-time low-flying training will affect East Sussex, West Sussex, Hampshire, Surrey, Kent and the Isle of Wight.
In March this year, an Airbus A400 aircraft circled over Sussex after taking off from RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire.
The RAF later revealed crews were completing "routine training".
The aircraft, which measures more than 45 metres in length, passed low over Brighton City Airport in Shoreham, and above the streets of Brighton and Hove.
