A CAR was severely damaged in a crash involving a lorry.
Emergency services were called to the collision on the A21 in Bodiam, near Rother, on Friday.
A Police Community Support Officer arrived to find both drivers uninjured.
“The car was a write off, with no visible damage to the lorry,” he said. “And looking at the pictures you can see why.
“The lorry driver was unaware of how small the local lanes and B roads are in the Rother area, so I escorted the lorry out to the A21 so he could continue his journey.”
Last month, the A27 was closed after a crash involving a lorry and a car.
