A MAN seen driving dangerously whilst drunk on the A27 has been arrested.

Sussex Roads Police said officers received several calls about a vehicle being driven in a dangerous manner yesterday morning between Arundel and Worthing.

Officers posted a photo of the vehicle shows significant damage to the wheel arch and tyre rim. 

A Sussex Roads Police spokesman said: “This morning we received multiple calls about this vehicle being driven on A27 in a dangerous manner. 

“We stopped the vehicle and the driver was intoxicated. 

“He's now sobring in custody and will be interviewed and charged later on today.”
