HAUNTED walking tours and stars of Drag Race UK are on offer at the annual Brighton Fringe festival.
The largest arts festival in England is underway, with a month of entertainment across the city.
With over 700 shows and events, festivalgoers are spoilt for choice with a variety of cabaret, circus, comedy, dance, drama, drag shows and more.
Among the events being held on Wednesday, May 11, include:
Back Passages of Brighton: Walking tour
Described as “Brighton’s most unusual walking tour”, the activity will take the public through the passages and paths of the city.
Tickets are priced between £8 and £10, with walkers meeting outside Brighton Town Hall in Bartholomew Square.
Nick Draws Nationals: Global pandemic portraits
A selection of artwork by Brighton-based artist Nick Sayers, depicting the Covid-19 pandemic.
Nick has been drawing portraits of people in different countries through Zoom video sessions, and writing stories about their lives in lockdown.
This is a free event.
Joe Black: Live At Brighton Spiegeltent
Join Drag Race UK season two star and cabaret performer Joe Black as he returns to Brighton Fringe for an evening of “musical mischief, vaudevillian villainy and cabaret chaos”,
The event will take place at Brighton Spiegeltent.
Art5 Gallery: Original Art Exhibition 2022
Hosted by Art5 Gallery in Prince Albert Street, the exhibition will be open for five weeks.
It will showcase a variety of the galleries most popular contemporary resident artists, with a mixture of group and solo shows.
Ghost Walk of the Lanes
The activity is an undemanding 80-minute tour of Brighton's oldest and most haunted quarter, visiting eight locations.
Actors and storytellers are all suitably attired in Victorian costume and carry a few surprises in their Gladstone bag.
All the stories are long-established accounts of hauntings in and around The Lanes, alongside historical facts and peppered with comic respite.
This is a family-friendly event that has received the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence.
Tickets range from £8 to £12.
