FROM drag shows to chocolate tours, there is something for everyone to enjoy at the largest arts festival in England.
Brighton Fringe is underway, with a month of entertainment across the city.
With over 700 shows and events, festivalgoers are spoilt for choice with a variety of cabaret, circus, comedy, dance, drama, drag shows and more.
Among the events being held on Monday, May 9, include:
Brighton Big Drag Pageant 2022
To be held at Brighton Spiegeltent, the show will see the return of the best drag acts in town.
“Expect infamous judges, special guests, press, prizes and of course the best performers on the scene,” organisers said.
The show, which will be hosted by Alfie Ordinary, will begin at 7pm.
A Not So Silent Disco Tour - Brighton Dance Extravaganza
With numerous events held each day, Brighton Dance Extravaganza host a one-hour dance around town.
“This tour is for everyone, from babies to those seeking a bit of adventure and are young at heart,” organisers said.
Ticket prices range from £15 to £20.
A Brighton Food and Chocolate Adventure
If you love food and are also a keen chocolate lover, this tour celebrates everything that a foodie soul requires.
Not only will your taste buds have their own little party, but you will also get to know some of Brighton's best eateries and chocolatiers.
The two-hour two begins opposite St Bartholomew's Church.
A.A.A. presents The Secret Comedy Club
Held at Artista Downstairs in Waterloo Street, the comedy venue has more than 100 comedians set to perform across the four week festival.
Different performers will take to the stage each night to perform an intimate gig.
Artista was voted the Audience Choice Award Best Brighton Fringe Venue in 2021.
Come Sit on the Couch with Me
The show is to be held at Laughing Horse @ The Quadrant in North Street.
Star of the show Andrea Gordon said: “The show is a cocktail of a comical but true look at communication in the western world today, with a good dose of rapping and a big pinch of satire.”
