A CYCLIST has been fined for riding through a red light.
Sussex Roads Police issued a fixed penalty notice to the rider in Shoreham on Wednesday, April 27.
Police dashcam footage shows the cyclist approaching a red light with pedestrians crossing the road.
Yesterday we followed this cyclist through Shoreham and observed him contravening a red traffic light. We stopped him further down the road and issued him with a fixed penalty notice.

The cyclist then rides through the red light and continues down the road.
A spokesman from Sussex Roads Police said: ““We followed this cyclist through Shoreham and observed him contravening a red traffic light.
“We stopped him further down the road and issued him with a fixed penalty notice.
“Red lights apply to all road users.”
