AN AIR ambulance was called to a four-vehicle pile up on the A259 yesterday evening.
Police were called to the crash which had left the A259 blocked at Eversfield Place in St Leonards.
The road was closed for two hours while emergency services, including an air ambulance, attended the scene where a Honda had overturned on to its side.
Sussex Police confirmed at the time that the injuries were not serious and the air ambulance had left the scene.
An update today confirmed that one man was treated at the scene for a minor injury.
Pictures from the scene show the overturned Honda being propped up while emergency services ensured people were okay.
The road was reopened at 8.15pm.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: “Emergency services were called to reports of a collision involving four vehicles in Eversfield Place, St Leonards, at around 6.15pm on Wednesday (April 27).
“Police closed the road in both directions until 8.15pm.
“One man was treated at the scene for a minor injury.”
