A MAN has been fined for driving his Mercedes without insurance or a valid test certificate.
James Johnson has been ordered to pay a total of £1,058 by Brighton magistrates after being caught driving without third party insurance or a test certificate in Bear Road, Brighton, on September 13 last year.
The 56-year-old, of Prestonville Road, Brighton, was fined £660 and £220 respectively and given six points on his licence in a single justice procedure.
He will also have to pay £90 in court costs and a surcharge of £88 to fund victim services.
