A DRIVER has been taken to hospital following a collision.
The crash happened on the A259 at Exceat, near Seaford, yesterday morning.
Two cars had collided, leading to the road being blocked whilst emergency services attended.
Traffic and buses were affected in the closure.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "Officers were called to a report of a collision on the A259 near Seaford at around 6.20am on Monday, April 25.
"Two vehicles were involved and the road was blocked whilst the vehicles were recovered.
"The driver of one of the vehicles was taken to hospital as a precaution.
"The road was re-opened just after 8am."
