VERY SAD to see yet another local GP surgery is to close early in June as it has no permanent GP (The Argus, April 21).
St Luke's Surgery in Saltdean will close transferring current patients to Rottingdean Medical Practice. Although this is not too far away, this will I am sure will be of great inconvenience to some patients, especially some elderly ones who will now have to travel further away to see a GP.
We are seeing too many local GP surgeries closing, in my view, causing great anguish to the patients concerned.
I hope that the changes go smoothly for all patients concerned and this will be the last closure of a GP surgery we see. I fear it won't be the last we see in Brighton and Hove.
