A 23-YEAR-OLD motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries following a serious collision with a car.
Officers attended the A283, near the Bramber Castle roundabout in Steyning, at around 6.20pm on Tuesday after a black Triumph motorcycle and a red Citroen C1 collided.
The motorcyclist was treated by paramedics at the scene and taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The road was closed temporarily while emergency services responded and for the vehicles to be recovered.
Anyone who witnessed the crash, saw either vehicle travelling in the area beforehand, or who may have captured any relevant dash cam footage is urged to email collision.appeal@sussex.police.uk or call 101 quoting Operation Barling.
