FIRE crews are tackling a boat fire at a port.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the blaze in Shoreham Port at about 3.21am on Wednesday, April 20.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said the control centre received a report of a boat fire.
Four crews are currently at the scene - one from Shoreham, three from East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service and a technical rescue unit.
They are using four breathing apparatus and two 45mm hoses currently in use.
The severity of the fire is not yet known.
Last month, Newhaven residents were urged to keep their windows and doors closed amid a large fire at East Quay.
A blaze involving industrial equipment caused a large plume of smoke.
