POLICE are conducting high visibility patrols amid a rise in antisocial behaviour.
After reports of concern regarding criminal activity in Northgate and West Green Park, Crawley, police patrolled the area on Tuesday afternoon.
Officers spoke with local residents about their concerns in the hope of resolving the issue.
A Crawley Police spokesman said: “Officers were conducting high visibility patrols in Northgate and West Green Park this afternoon in response to concerns around antisocial behaviour.
“Officers engaged with the community and spoke to them about their concerns.
“You can report all antisocial behaviour concerns to us by speaking to officers on their patrols, by visiting our website or call 101.”
Last week, police patrolled an area near the high-rise block of flats Fitzleet House in Bognor due to ongoing antisocial behaviour.
Meanwhile, police were forced to issue a dispersal order in Worthing town centre after significant levels of antisocial behaviour.
The Section 34 Dispersal Order was put in place on Wednesday, April 13, and lasted until 3.49pm on Friday, April 15.
