A TRADER has been fined thousands of pounds for being aggressive towards customers.
Andrew Backhouse has been ordered to pay a total of £1,827.24 by Hastings magistrates for an incident in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, on March 30 last year.
The 68-year-old pleaded guilty to engaging in a commercial practice which was aggressive and engaging in commercial practice which is a misleading action containing false information.
He was fined £100 for each offence and ordered to pay £93.24 compensation.
Backhouse, of Wartling Close, St Leonards, will also have to pay £1,500 in court costs and a surcharge of £34 to fund victim services.
