Easter holiday Brighton weather forecast

This week should start fairly well - tomorrow is predicted to be a dry day with a mix of cloudy periods and long sunny spells with highs of around 17 °C. However, it will turn cloudier later, with outbreaks of potentially heavy rain expected overnight.

According to the Met Office, the rain should clear by Tuesday morning, becoming brighter with winds easing.

Expect mist patches both Wednesday and Thursday morning, but otherwise they should be fine and mild days with sunny spells, although there is a risk of isolated showers developing.

Looking further ahead to the weekend and next week, again this period is likely to begin with mostly dry weather with light winds. It will be often rather cloudy though, especially near coasts.

However, as the week goes on, a northwest-southeast split of weather is likely to form, with the northwest remaining more changeable with strong winds and rain at times.

Some rain may occasionally spread into parts in the southeast at first but it is likely to turn dry and become generally much more settled, though perhaps rather cloudy, in the south.

The good news is, temperatures are expected to be above average, and even warm at times for those in the south.
