A man was fined for speeding on the M23 in Crawley
A MERCEDES driver has been fined for speeding on the M23.
Harrison Bird has been ordered to pay a total of £461 by Brighton magistrates after being caught driving above 70mph on the M23 between J10A and J11, near Tilgate Forest, on August 19 last year.
The 30-year-old pleaded guilty to the offence.
Bird, of Calvert Link, Faygate, Horsham, was fined £337 and given six points on his licence.
He will also have to pay £90 in court costs and a surcharge of £34 to fund victim services.
