MULTIPLE fire crews are tackling a blaze at a farm.
The fire, which broke out at around 5.30pm, was at Hurstwood Farm Equestrian Centre in Royal Oak Lane, High Hurstwood near Uckfield.
Six fire engines initially responded to the large fire. No casualties or injuries have been reported at the farm and “steady progress” is being made on the fire.
Crews attended from Uckfield, Crowborough, Heathfield, Forest Row, Lewes and Tunbridge Wells.
The incident was "scaled down" to three fire engines at 7.55pm.
A spokeswoman for ESFRS said: “It’s a six pump fire in Royal Oak Lane in Buxted.
“Crews from Uckfield, Crowborough, Heathfield, Forest Row, Lewes and Tunbridge Wells using four breathing apparatus, using one in seven foam.
“No casualties have been reported and steady progress is being made.”
Another update confirmed that the fire was well under control.
The spokeswoman added: "At 7.55pm, the incident was scaled down to three pumps - Battle, Lewes and Crowborough and steady progress is being made."
