AN ALBION player is unlikely to continue his loan spell in League One, according to his manager.
Jensen Weir is on a season-long loan at League One side Cambridge United.
Cambridge manager Mark Bonner said Weir is unlikely to return to the club this season because of a knee injury.
Speaking ahead of their fixture against AFC Wimbledon, Bonner said Weir and Greg Taylor will both miss the match.
Cambridge currently sit 12 points above Wimbledon in 17th place and will be looking for a first win in six outings.

Following the move to Cambridge, Albion U23s head coach Andrew Crofts said: “Jensen made a really good impression last season, and this is the next step for him in terms of his development.
“He is going to a club just promoted to League One so he will get the opportunity to play at a high level and develop his own game in a good environment.
“As with all our loan players, we will be monitoring his progress and wish him all the best for the season.”
The 20-year-old is an England youth international.
