A MAN has been fined and given points on his licence for using his mobile phone while driving.
Adrian Ionescu has been ordered to pay a total of £294 by Brighton magistrates after being caught using a hand-held mobile phone while driving in Bexhill Road, St Leonards, on June 8 last year.
The 39-year-old pleaded guilty to the offence.
Ionescu, of Robertson Terrace, Hastings, was fined £150 and given six points on his licence.
He will also have to pay £110 in court costs and a surcharge of £34 to fund victim services.
