A MUSIC festival has announced it full line-up and it includes the son of a reggae icon. 

One Love Festival is to take place in Wiston Park, Steyning, from Friday, August 12, to Sunday, August 14.

Organisers have announced that Julian Marley, Heather Small and The Dualers have all been added to the bill.

Two-time Grammy award nominee Julian, the son of reggae star Bob Marley, is the latest artist to confirm his attendance.

After a two-year hiatus, the 2022 event will be the 14th One Love Festival.

The festival is in partnership with the Rio Ferdinand Foundation, a youth charity.

Gary Stannett, chief executive of the foundation, said: “The One Love Festival is proving to be a wonderful partnership for the Rio Ferdinand Foundation on so many levels.

“As well as providing a huge platform for the foundation to amplify its message and raise much-needed funds, the offer of paid work placements and social media takeovers driven by young people who have completed our training courses is a great opportunity for them to build practical skills in a fun environment in the music industry.

“It’s also fantastic to see our partnership come ‘full circle’ as our ambassador for the music industry and United Against Racism advocate Heather Small joins the line-up. We are really looking forward to the day and hope as many people as possible get down to the event for what promises to be a great festival.”
