AN ALBION midfielder has officially signed for Manchester United.
Toby Collyer, who has captained England Under-16s and Under-17s, has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal at United – becoming Ralf Rangnick’s first signing at the club.
The 18-year-old made his Brighton and Hove Albion Under-18’s debut when he was just 15-years-old.
Collyer impressed while on trial with United last month, according to Manchester Evening News.
Collyer took to social media upon the official announcement of the signing.
"Delighted to join this great club, can’t wait to get started," he said.
Collyer has made just one appearance this season for Brighton's academy, but he was a key player for the side last season, making a total of 25 appearances for both the Under-18s and Under-23s.
Across last season, he played more than 2,000 minutes.
