THESE incredible drone pictures show beautiful blue skies over Brighton as the city basks in spring sunshine.
After weeks of chilly and unsettled weather, many people have been hoping for sunshine, lighter nights and milder days.
A high-pressure system moving in means this weekend’s weather forecast is bright with a chance that temperatures could reach the high teens.
Photos taken from high above Hove seafront earlier today show people enjoying a walk along the promenade and crystal-clear waters.
Met Office meteorologist Alex Deakin said: “That high pressure looks likely to bring most of us a fine day on Friday and the high could continue to bring us fine weather into the weekend.
“With high pressure sitting right across the UK, that means generally fine and sunny conditions.”
This is the Met Office weather forecast for Brighton and Hove from Saturday, March 19, to Tuesday, March 22.
Saturday: A dry day with long spells of sunshine although breezy with strong coastal winds. Feeling warmer inland by afternoon, but cooler in east. Maximum temperature 15C.
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday: Rather cloudier on Sunday and Monday and feeling cooler. Risk of some showery rain at times, mainly on Sunday. Winds easing to mainly light. Tuesday fine with some sunshine.
