A 13-YEAR-OLD boy has been taken to hospital following an alleged stabbing in Worthing town centre.
Police say five people have been detained.
Officers urged people to avoid the area while they respond.
Sussex Police have reported a large presence including officers carrying firearms.
An area near McDonald's has been cordoned off.
