KATIE Price’s fiancé’s upcoming court hearing has been postponed.
Carl Woods was due to appear in court this week after being charged by police under Section 4 of the Public Order Act.
The 33-year-old was set to attend Colchester Magistrates' Court on Thursday, but the case has now been moved to Wednesday, March 23, according to The Mirror.
Last month, police confirmed that Mr Woods had been charged under section 4 of the Public Order Act following an arrest last August. The force confirmed there were no amendments to the charge.
In a statement released on social media, he insisted the court hearing was in relation to an argument the couple had in the street in which he used “foul language”, not any alleged assault on Katie last year.
“Now it's my turn everything I say I have proof,” he said.
"So, everyone that's messaging me saying, 'Oh you attacked Katie, you did this, the truth is out' - no, the truth's not out. It's not out at all.
"Look at what's been written, nowhere has it said that I've been charged with assaulting Katie, they haven't said that. No one's said I've been charged with coercive controlling behaviour, nobody's said that, because it's not true, it hasn't happened.
"I'll tell you now, I was charged with a public order [offence], yeah I have been, me and Katie argued in the street, yeah I used foul language, I got charged for that okay, that's a public order offence, nothing to do with anything else."
He continued: "I didn't lay a finger on her, right, didn't ever coercively control her, anyone who thinks you can control Katie Price you've got to be off your head because you can't, right.
"There's lots and lots of things that I've got that absolutely cover me and prove that I am completely and utterly innocent, so it is coming - factual proof, black and white, unarguable, okay, unarguable.”
As he spoke to the camera on Instagram, Katie can he heard in the background saying: "You've never done nothing to me, ever.
"I've never called the police on you, nothing, ever."
