A HORRIFIED resident has slammed a "childish" neighbour for trying to flog a pair of poo stained pants online.
The "filthy" white boxers, claimed to have been worn for three months, are up for sale on Craigslist with a staggering asking price of £50.
Located in Haywards Heath, the mystery seller boasts of "smell satisfaction guaranteed" while advertising the "filthy pants" online.
The discovery led nearby residents to share their disgust at the advertisement, with one describing the image as "stomach-churning".
He told The Argus: "I know the person who posted this thinks he's hilarious but frankly it's a stomach-churning image, childishly scatological and thoroughly offensive.
"Is this what passes for wit in Haywards Heath these days?"
It is not the first time Craigslist has been found to host unusual adverts. Last year, The Argus confronted a covid-denier after discovering a sex for rent listing on the platform.
The online advert was aimed at women who had lost their jobs due to the “scamdemic” and were “unable to pay rent or even buy food”.
The website has been criticised before for similar adverts.
At the time, Hove MP Peter Kyle said the platform "made his blood boil".
He said: "If people act like pimps, they should be treated like pimps. Whether they are low life kerb crawlers or Californian, frappucino-swilling, sandal-wearing tech gurus.
"They are utter low-life.
"Any time I see photographs of Craigslist executives living the highlife it makes my blood boil, because their money is often coming from peddling misery and turning a blind eye to it.
"I think they are utterly amoral."
The bizarre find also comes just days after a group of "exhibitionists" filmed and uploaded a video of themselves dogging at a popular Sussex beauty spot.
Millions of people have now watched footage of three people performing a sex act at Devil's Dyke after the film was uploaded to the 2Beeg.Mobi website.
The 17-minute-long clip titled "Devils dyke dogging" shows the group performing the romp in the woods under the cover of darkness two years ago.
Horrified councillor Mary Mears described the discovery as "disgusting" and hoped the footage would not put residents off visiting the attraction.
She said: "It is such a shame that they use these beauty spots - it makes other residents nervous.
"It is disgusting but I actually find it quite sad. Exhibitionists do it for the thrill but it is actually sad.
"It makes beauty spots in the city no go areas. Come springtime, residents need to go and enjoy them and not be put off."
