A 19-YEAR-OLD has been fined for speeding in a BMW on the M23.
Jack Rees has been ordered to pay a total of £310 by Crawley magistrates after being caught driving above 70mph between J10A and J11, near Tilgate Forest, on the dual carriageway on June 8, 2021.
The 19-year-old originally pleaded not guilty to the offence, but later changed his plea to guilty.
Rees, of Valley Close, Saundersfoot in Pembrokeshire, was fined £166 and disqualified for holding or obtaining a driving licence for six months.
He will also have to pay £110 in court costs and a surcharge of £34 to fund victim services.
