PART of the A26 will be closed at night until the end of March due to works.
The A26 in Newhaven will be closed between the A27 Beddingham roundabout and the A259 on all weeknights until Friday, March 25.
National Highways reports that the closure is due to lights being replaced along the A26 and will occur between 8pm and 6am.

A spokesman for the agency said: “We’re replacing and upgrading the lighting along the A26 in Newhaven.
“These improvements are essential for the safety of road users.
This work is taking longer than expected and will continue to Friday, March 25.
“To help keep everyone safe, temporary traffic management will be in place along the A26 in Newhaven as we complete the work.
“All work will take place overnight (8pm to 6am) Monday to Friday only, when there are fewer vehicles on the road, causing less disruption.”
A diversion will be in place through the A259, B2123 and A27.
