POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was kicked in the head by a cyclist in the street.
The victim, 56, was walking on the pavement in Langney Risen, Eastbourne near the ATS Garage when a cyclist rode by him and clipped into him at about 2.45pm on Thursday, February 24.
The cyclist then got into a verbal altercation with the victim and started pushing him.
He then pushed the man to the ground, and kicked him repeatedly in the head, smashing his glasses.

The man was taken to hospital and treated for minor injuries.
The cyclist was riding a grey mountain bike and is white, about 18, 5ft 10ins and was wearing a dark hoodie and dark trousers.
PC Jon Dixon said: “At the time of the incident the victim said the road was busy with traffic, so we would like to hear from anyone who saw this happen. Please contact us if you can help our investigation.”
