THE photograph in Wednesday's Argus, of a huge painted plant pot in Brighton city centre was fantastic, showing what the authorities can achieve when they really set their minds to something.
However, this being Brighton, I cannot help feeling that it will be just a matter of days before another picture is published, this time depicting this vibrant and colourful addition to North Street smothered in mindless 'tags', graffiti and fly-posted leaflets.
Still, I suppose that will be better than reading that it has been used as a urinal.
