TRAIN lines are closed this weekend due to planned engineering works.
The line is closed between Brighton to Three Bridges, as well as Lewes to Three Bridges. Southern Rail is running rail replacement buses as a result.
The work comes as part of track upgrades to replace track and drainage systems between the stations, as well as working on embankments to stop landslides and building an underpass beneath the railway at Hassocks.
A limited train service will also run between London Victoria and Brighton, diverted via Horsham and Littlehampton which will add around 60 minutes to people’s journeys.
Trains will run between London Victoria and Three Bridges as normal, while Brighton to Ore services will also run as normal.
There were also no trains running between Brighton, Lewes and Three Bridges since February 19, due to a £15 million rail upgrade by Network Rail.
There is also a line closure on Sunday, April 3.
